Kerala on Thursday confirmed 21 fresh covid-19 patients, including two people who returned after attending a religious meet in Delhi's Nizamuddin, now a coronavirus hotspot in India, announced the state's chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
One of them is a Gujarat native, he said. Kerala has a total of 286 cases now, said Vijayan, including 256 active patients, 28 recovered and two deaths.
Eight of the fresh patients are in Kasargod, five in Idukki, two in Kollam, one each in Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur, said Vijayan.
A total of 165,936 are under observation in Kerala over the virus breakout, out of which 643 are in hospitals, said the CM. This includes 145 people who admitted on Thursday,
