CM Pinarayi Vijayan says over 1.2 lakh people are under observation in the state ERNAKULAM : Kerala confirmed 19 more COVID-19 patients on Thursday, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 126, the highest in India.
Maharashtra comes close second with 124 active cases reported so far. The figures were announced by the state’s chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Over 1.2 lakh people are under observation in the state, he added. A total of 12 people have fully recovered so far in the state.
Out of the new cases, nine are from Kannur district, three are from Kasargod, three are from Malappuram, two are from Thrissur and one is from Idukki and Wayanad.
