Crash horror on M74 as Porsche driver dead and two others rushed to hospital

A Porsche driver was killed after a horror smash on a Scots motorway which left two other people in hospital.The 65-year-old man died at the scene at Junction 2 of the M74 around 6pm on Sunday near Rutherglen.

His Porsche Boxter collided with several vehicles before he ploughed into the central reservation.Emergency crews raced to the scene but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 45-year-old female driver of a Nissan Leaf car and 42-year-old female driver of a BMW 2 series car were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.The major route was shut down by cops overnight as they launched a probe into the crash.
