Prince William, with a radiant smile, has resumed his royal duties for his first official engagement of 2025 - just a day after wife Kate announced she was in remission from cancer.
The Prince of Wales journeyed to Birmingham to attend the inaugural emergency and critical care conference held by the College of Paramedics.A visibly relaxed William was seen engaging warmly with paramedics before delivering a speech at the significant event.
His attendance at the conference coincides with his recent patronage of the College of Paramedics. As a former air ambulance helicopter pilot, William served three years with the RAF Search and Rescue Force, undertaking rescue missions from RAF Valley in Anglesey since autumn 2010.
He later joined the East Anglian Air Ambulance, responding to emergencies for two years before stepping down in July 2017 to concentrate on his Royal responsibilities.Established in 2001, the College of Paramedics plays a crucial role in advancing the paramedic profession by advocating for professional standards, learning and development, and prioritising the mental health and well-being of its members.
