WASHINGTON - A federal appeals court on Friday rejected a Trump administration finding that the active ingredient in the weed killer Roundup does not pose a serious health risk and is "not likely" to cause cancer in humans.The California-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to reexamine its 2020 finding that glyphosate did not pose a health risk for people exposed to it by any means -- on farms, yards or roadsides or as residue left on food crops. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Roundup, the most widely used herbicide in the world.

PHILADELPHIA - A firefighter is dead after an early morning fire caused a building to collapse in Fairhill, according to officials.Lieutenant Sean Williamson, a 27-year veteran of the Philadelphia Fire Department, was killed after a portion of the building collapsed.Crews responded to the fire as it broke out at a commercial building on the 300 block West Indiana Avenue around 2 a.m. They were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes. However, a large portion of the building collapsed as officials surveyed the damage and crews attended to displaced residents.Six people were reportedly trapped underneath the building, five firefighters and one license and inspections inspector.Five were rescued from the fire, including Fire Marshal Sylvester Burton, Lieutenant Clarence Johnson, Firefighter Dennis Bailey and Firefighter Robert Brennan, Jr., and transported to Temple University Hospital.

METTER, Ga. - Some Georgians woke up very early Saturday morning to the ground shaking.The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake about 20 miles west of Statesboro, Georgia near Metter, Georgia. It happened around 4:05 a.m. and measured a 3.9 magnitude. People have reported feeling the quake in Savannah, Bluffton, and Statesboro and as far away as Columbia, Augusta, Warner Robins and Atlanta, according to the National Weather Service.There were no reports of any major damage caused by the quake.

PHILADELPHIA - Another teen became the victim of a shooting after police say he was killed in North Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.Police say the victim, a boy between the ages of 15 and 18, was shot twice on the 1400 block of 14th Street around 12:27 p.m.He suffered one gunshot wound to the upper back, and one to the lower back.He was transported to Temple University Hospital by police, where he was later pronounced dead.No arrests have been made, and no weapons recovered at this time.

EXTON, Pa. - Surveillance video shows the moment police say two shoplifters were wrested into custody after they tried to steal thousands in perfume from a Pennsylvania Ulta.In a Facebook post on Friday, the West Whiteland Police Department said they received information about a plan to steal $10k in fragrances from an Ulta in Exton. Detective Scott Pezick told FOX 29 that his department was told to be on the lookout for a red Nissan Altima thought to be linked to other Ulta thefts. Perzick said authorities called the Ulta on Swedesford Road in Exton to let employees know that their store could be targeted."I called them, told them what was happening, they asked what they should do, I said just make sure everybody's safe in there," Perzick said. Officers from the West Whiteland Police Department staked out in the Ulta parking lot on Friday morning and spotted the red Altima. FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A Fulton County judge has denied Atlanta rapper Gunna bond for a RICO charge at an arraignment hearing Monday morning.The rapper, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, was booked into a jail in Atlanta on May 11 as part of a sweeping gang indictment that also named 27 other people, including fellow Atlanta rapper Young Thug.
