There have been claims that Vladimir Putin could be seriously ill, with some suggesting he may have cancer. Over the past few weeks, the Russian President has sparked concerns over his health after he launched a horrific and illegal war on his neighbour Ukraine. It comes as hundreds of civilians have already died, along with thousands of combatants, with countries around the world bringing in sanctions to try and deter an escalation of the conflict. With Putin appearing on our screens as the conflict is thrown into the spotlight, some people have started to speculate that Russia's leader may not be in the best of health. However, there has been no official confirmation about the state of Putin’s health. So, why do people think Putin has health problems, including speculation over cancer and Parkinson's disease? In recent TV appearances, Vladimir Putin has appeared noticeably more bloated around the face and neck. The Telegraph suggested that this could be because " he may be undergoing treatment with steroids".Back in November 2020 the Russian leader had a severe coughing fit on television which the Kremlin later edited. The Telegraph quoted Fiona Hill, the British former senior White House expert on Russia, who said: "He’s been rather puffy-faced.

We know that he has complained about having back issues. Even if it’s not something worse than that, it could be that he’s taking high doses of steroids, or there may be something else.

There for this [invasion] that may be also driven by personal factors."The Daily Star has quoted an "ex-military intelligence officer now working at the Pentagon" as saying they think Vladimir Putin is living in pain which may be a result of cancer, with his face being a sign he is taking

New Jersey woman accused of reporting fake shooting to get out of traffic stop
CLEMENTON, N.J. - A woman is facing charges after authorities in Camden County say she made a bogus 911 call about a shooting in an effort to distract an officer who had pulled her over. On Monday afternoon, authorities say the Gloucester Township Police Communications Center received a 911 call about a shooting at the Millbridge Garden Apartment Complex in Clementon.Authorities say when officers were responding to the area, they did not observe a shooting scene, and they made several calls to the residents of the complex. Investigators traced the cell phone number back to Katelynne Hunter-Fisher, which dispatchers were able to recognize from a motor vehicle stop that was in progress at the time the 911 call was made.Responding officers verified that there was no shooting at the apartment complex, and they were able to locate the Hunter-Fisher in Lindenwold. Police determined that Hunter-Fisher called in the false shooting report in an attempt to distract the officers from completing the motor vehicle stop. Hunter-Fisher, 35, was arrested for filing a false police report and obstruction of justice. ___MORE LOCAL HEADLINES___DOWNLOAD: FOX 29 NEWS APP | FOX 29 WEATHER AUTHORITY APPSUBSCRIBE: Good Day Digest Newsletter | FOX 29 Philly on YouTubeAdvertisementFOLLOW: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter

Putin miscalculated if he thinks West will move on after Ukraine invasion: ambassador
Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a “miscalculation” if he thinks the West will move on from his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, says Canada’s ambassador to the sovereign democracy. In an interview with The West Block guest host Eric Sorenson, Larisa Galadza spoke from Poland where the ambassador and Canada’s diplomatic staff are operating amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.Galadza and the Canadian embassy staff had been based in Kyiv before relocating to the western Ukrainian city of Lviv as the invasion began, and subsequently left the country for Poland.“It’s like a sea of humanity. It’s people standing in lineups, many of them on foot, but a lot of them are still in cars coming over the border,” Galadza said in describing Ukrainians fleeing their country. She said any assumptions on the part of Putin that the West will move on or get over his invasion of Ukraine is just “another miscalculation.”“It’s not the first miscalculation, I think, that Russia has made,” she added.“The response that we’re seeing from our like-minded governments, the response that we’re seeing from Ukrainians themselves, is unprecedented.”Some 1.2 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee as a result of the first land war on the European continent since the Second World War.
