Officers are searching for a knife attacker after two men were stabbed in north Manchester. Police were called out to Crumpsall by North West Ambulance Service as paramedics responded to a stabbing on St Mary's Hall Road at 10.40pm on Wednesday (November 6).
Greater Manchester Police says two men, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospital after suffering stab injuries. Their condition is described as stable.
A blue forensic tent has been erected outside St Mary's Court. Police have closed off St Mary's Hall Road this morning (Thursday), while officers have searched surrounding areas including Ardern Road, Holland Road and Crumpsall Lane. Police have been seen searching gutters, behind bushes and around properties in the area throughout today as the investigation continues.
