A man aged in his 30s was fighting for his life with serious injuries in hospital today after he was 'hit' by an Audi car as he crossed a road, police said.
Greater Manchester Police described his injuries as 'multiple, serious and life-threatening' and confirmed he remained in hospital.
The driver of the Audi 'remained at the scene', said police, and there have been no arrests. Now a specialist GMP unit has issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
They want to hear from anyone with dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage. READ MORE: LIVE Police surround terraced row of houses after woman found dead - latest updates Emergency services were called to Atherleigh Way in Leigh, Wigan, at 9am on Tuesday.
