Authors of a blog depicting the impact of lockdown on people’s mental health are raising vital cash for charity. ‘Thrive Thru’ was set up by East Kilbride bloggers Catherine Hunter and Matt Bryan, both of whom have battled with their own mental health issues.
Through the blog, the pair hope to encourage open discussions for those who may be struggling with the stresses and strains of the coronavirus crisis.As well as links to groups and professionals that can help, the website also acts as a fundraising drive for the Samaritans.
Catherine, from Stewartfield, told the East Kilbride News: “I have battled with anxiety and depression for more than 20 years. “My mum always said you either had to pick me up off the floor or scrape me off the
