EastEnders' Angie and Den Watts were iconic, and featured in some of the BBC soap's biggest scenes ever during their time in Walford.
That kind of legacy lives on in a soap, as well as the minds of loyal fans. Angie left back in 1988, with her husband Dirty Den following a year later, but the characters are as legendary now as they were then.
Some of their scenes and storylines paved the way for soaps years on, so it was no wonder viewers were in meltdown when the famous Dirty Den returned from the dead in 2003.
There have been nods and Easter eggs to the former Queen Vic owners ever since they left the show, with daughter Sharon Watts still in Albert Square.
