Coronavirus: Scottish Government advises public to wear face coverings in supermarkets

The Scottish Government has recommended that members of the public wear face coverings while in supermarkets and on public transport.First Minister Nicola Sturgeon made the announcement this afternoon as a measure to halt the spread of coronavirus.The new recommendation isn't enforceable or mandatory but this could be reviewed in the future.

The government also announced that Ayrshire cases have risen again today to 738. An increase of 17 casesAcross Scotland 1132 people have died.
