The heartbroken family of a Dumbarton care worker have paid tribute to the "wonderful" mum who was dedicated to looking after the most vulnerable.Catherine Sweeney lost her life in the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley on Saturday.She dedicated more than 20 years of her life as a home carer having been born and raised in Dumbarton and was well-known in the community.In a statement released through the GMB union, her family said: “We want to pay tribute to our wonderful mother, sister, and beloved auntie, Catherine Sweeney, who passed away from coronavirus while being cared for by the medical staff at the RAH Paisley, on the night of April 4th."We want to thank the doctors and nurses who heroically looked after her in her final days.
