I am currently working on a story set there. It has an archaeological element and I had a long-standing invitation to Knossos to observe the work of a team of distinguished archaeologists (and maybe even to get my own hands dirty in the ancient dust).
For a few days I sat and doodled on my notepad. Could I continue? Or would I have to write about something else? The answer was obvious.
