Nursing a hairline fracture in her right leg and sporting a broken hand, Alison recounted the incident, saying: "The path was uneven and I went flying.

At the hospital I had tablets for the pain. It's been terrible. I don't think I've broken my leg but I twisted it badly so there could be a hairline fracture." There are plans for further medical evaluations back on UK soil at London’s Whittington Hospital.

Despite the accident, Alison still headed out for an evening river cruise with her spouse, fellow actor Michael Elwyn, all while nestled comfortably in her wheelchair.
