Shingles “is a viral infection that causes a painful rash” that often appears as a single stripe of blisters caused by the varicella-zoster virus — the same virus that causes chickenpox, per the Mayo Clinic.

We wish Harrison Ford a speedy recovery. The Oscars will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien for the first time and the show is airing live on ABC and Hulu.
