Katie Thurston has given an update on her breast cancer diagnosis. The 34-year-old The Bachelorette alum told fans on Friday (March 28) that PET scans revealed that her breast cancer has metastasized to her liver, bringing her to a stage 4 diagnosis. “I did find out today that my breast cancer has spread to the liver.

It is fairly small. However, that does put me at stage 4,” she said on Instagram. Keep reading to find out more… “I know stage 4 can sound very scary, and it can be.

However, given that I am triple-positive and the spots on my liver are fairly small and detected early, I feel very optimistic on my outcome,” she added.

According to Katie, she will begin treatment involving chemotherapy next week. Our thoughts are with Katie during her battle. Katie revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in February.
