A healthy teenager from Oldham who was rushed to hospital by paramedics due to severe COVID-19 symptoms wants to warn other young people to take the virus seriously.
The 19-year-old, who has no underlying health conditions, was in and out of Royal Oldham Hospital over a period of six days due the virus.
The teen, who asked not to be named, wants to thank the medical staff for the fantastic care he received. But he also wants to warn young people to not be complacent - they may not suffer mild symptoms.
