Grieving families who are banned from saying a final goodbye to relatives in hospital are being given poignant print-outs of their loved ones heartbeats.
Critical care nurse Holly (corr) Minshall created the ‘Heartbeat in a Bottle’ to give to people who can't be with dying patients due to coronavirus restrictions.
The 26-year-old became worried about the impact on families who were left distressed that their loved-ones were dying alone in hospital.
To help people cope with their grief, University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust in Staffordshire, is giving a print-out of a patient’s pulse reading.
