A company has developed fully biodegradable hospital beds to meet the needs of hospitals and health centres while battling against coronavirus pandemic.
The cardboard beds can transfer patients in and out of hospitals and the design allows it to be converted to a coffin if the patient passes away.
Video shared by ABC Displays, a company based in the Colombian capital Bogota, that manufactures the cardboard design, displays how the cardboard bed works on a stretcher.
Workers are seen folding up the cardboards, assembling it into a rectangular box and fitting the stretcher handle in the middle of the box.
