Hours before Florida begins phase 1 of reopening, FDOH announces 615 new coronavirus cases

ORLANDO, Fla. – The day before Florida starts the process of reopening the State under Gov. DeSantis’s phase one plane, The Florida Department of Health announced 615 new cases of coronavirus in the state.

The new cases bring the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state to 36,078. 1,379 people have died as a result of the virus in Florida.
