Refunds have been the biggest talking point with many travel firms reluctant to return cash immediately to customers who have had travel plans cancelled as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Credit notes and vouchers, often accompanied with additional incentives, have been the initial response from most companies, with cash refunds only coming after customers have accepted these options first and then having to ask for their money back.
