Premier League clubs are yet to reach an agreement over whether the season should be played out at neutral grounds. The latest virtual meeting between the 20 clubs on Monday saw several key points raised as they look to launch Project Restart as soon as it’s safe to do so amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The government announced on Monday they were giving the green light for matches to be played behind closed doors from June 1.
Premier League bosses are still targeting a June 12 restart that would involve the remaining matches being played out over the space of seven weekends with two midweek fixture dates, by the end of July.
