Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly spoken personally to Timo Werner over his proposed summer move to Liverpool. The RB Leipzig striker is in-demand but is said to have decided he wants an Anfield switch.
He is willing to wait 12 months if the Reds decide they are going to put business on hold due to the implications of coronavirus.
It comes after Klopp reportedly spoke to Werner around a fortnight before Liverpool’s Champions League exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid in March Manchester United and Barcelona are also believed to have spoken directly to Werner with others such as Chelsea and Inter Milan linked.
