A Scots grandad is walking at least 40 miles round his own garden- dressed as a gnome.Alan Harper wears makeup for ruddy red cheeks, high boots and a red cone on top of his head as he walks through his garden 20 times a day for 20 days.Alan, 76, is in total lockdown at his home in Crook of Devon in Perth and Kinross because of his underlying health conditions.But he was determined to make the most of his isolation and decided on the challenge because his nickname is Gnomey.And he hopes to raise stacks of cash for child bereavement charity Richmond's Hope.
