A 101-year-old Italian man has become one of the oldest people on record to survive coronavirus. The centenarian, who was born during the Spanish flu in 1919, was released from hospital in Rimini on Thursday according to Italian media.
It is the second pandemic the man has survived, according to the deputy mayor of Rimini Gloria Lisi, who referred to him as “Mr P”.
