Jason Manford has been left ‘livid’ after he was rejected for a job at Tesco. The comedian applied for a position at a branch of the supermarket chain during the pandemic, in a bid to help those in need.
Unfortunately, the 38-year-old didn’t manage to get through to the next round of the application this time. Sharing a screenshot of his rejection letter on Twitter, he told fans: ‘Absolutely livid @Tesco.
I was only trying to do my bit. ‘I hope the better person got and enjoys the job, I’ll be watching.’ Side note: Could you imagine the massive queue at Jason’s till if he got the job?
