Boris Johnson is out of intensive care and is continuing to receive treatment for coronavirus at St Thomas's Hospital in London.
A No.10 spokesman announced the news on Thursday 9 April as they said in a statement: "The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.They added: "He is in extremely good spirits." The 55 year old was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night, where his condition worsened until he was moved to intensive care on Monday.
