Leyton orient winger Jobi McAnuff has summed up the fears of a growing number of EFL players about a potential return to action in June.
The Football League is planning for matches to resume from June 6 if it safe to do so. If matches do resume - allowing for the latest lockdown extension - they would be played behind closed doors.
But McAnuff believes there are many players uneasy about the risks connected with a return to action. “I’m one of them,” he told The Conv3rsation podcast. “It’s just hard to comprehend how it would actually work in practice. “I can take the precautions I need to at home and…I’m doing what I need to do and trying to keep away from people. “But the risk for me is just too high.
