Jordan Nobbs has thrown her weight behind an official inquiry into career-threatening knee injuries. The Arsenal and England midfielder has confirmed she would be happy to help with any research that shines additional light on problems that are currently blighting the women’s game.
Nobbs, 27, who signed a new long-term deal with the Gunners earlier this week, was predicted to become a global superstar at last year’s World Cup until she ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
That left her watching from the sidelines – a frustration compounded when the coronavirus caused the abandonment of this year’s Tokyo Olympics.
