Fast food giants KFC have announced they will reopening another wave of stores, including one in Bury. The coronavirus lockdown led to the company closing all of its stores nationwide on March 23.
Despite restaurants still being allowed to deliver takeaways, KFC said it would shut to "protect the wellbeing and safety" of its staff and customers.
However, the chain's branches in Stockport, Hulme and Deansgate, in Manchester, re-opened two weeks ago offering a limited menu prepared by a skeleton staff for delivery only.
They were among 11 stores to open across the UK. An update on KFC's website has now said they have "been busy behind the scenes" detailing how they can "responsibly reopen" its restaurants across the UK and Ireland.
