Good Morning Britain presenter Dr Hilary Jones made his feelings very clear today as he slammed medical soap stars on Holby City and Casualty for earning more than NHS carers.
Dr Hilary, 66, told Lorraine Kelly that he found it baffling how a man pretending to be a nurse is paid more than an over-worked real-life one - especially during the pandemic.
He said: "They make such an extraordinary difference every day, even before COVID-19. "I only wish they got paid on par with some of the top actors who play them in medical soaps. "It seems extraordinary in our society that actors who play that role are paid five/six times more.
