Labour tonight accused the Tories of double standards over advice to work from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. Boris Johnson and Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove announced on September 22 that people should once again avoid offices if they were able, in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Mr Gove told the BBC: "We are stressing that if it is safe to work in your workplace, if you are in a Covid-secure workplace, then you should be there if your job requires it. "But, if you can work from home you should."
