At a young age, Virlan García learned that if he wanted to become a successful musician, he'd have to work hard and prove his talent as a singer-songwriter. "I always wanted live the life of an artist," the 22-year-old regional Mexican singer-songwriter tells Billboard. "When you want something with all your heart and work hard to achieve your dreams, you'll see results." The hard work has paid off.

After kicking off his career at age 17 in his native Sinaloa, García made his debut on the Billboard charts in 2017 thanks to his album Mi Vida Eres Tu, which peaked at No.

17 on Regional Mexican Albums, and he's maintained his chart presence since, earning two top 10s on Regional Mexican Airplay.
