Law & Order: SVU is returning shortly. The long-running series was officially renewed for Season 26 by NBC back in March, and will premiere on October 3 at 9 p.m.

ET/PT on NBC and next day on Peacock. The crime show, also known as the first spin-off of Law & Order by Dick Wolf, debuted back in September of 1999, and has since gone on to become the longest-running primetime U.S.

Ringo Starr has cut his 2024 autumn US tour short due to illness.The former Beatles drummer was scheduled to perform at TD Pavilion at The Mann in Philadelphia on Tuesday (September 24) and Wednesday (25) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.“Ringo has come down with a cold and after consulting a doctor he was advised to cancel these two remaining shows and get rest,” a representative for the musician shared online.Ticket holders will be notified of the cancellation via email and will be refunded at their point of purchase.“As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon,” a post on social media concluded.A post shared by Ringo Starr (@ringostarrmusic)The Beatles star and his band embarked on their latest tour on September 7 in San Diego, performing a total of 10 shows before falling ill.Just under a week ago, the artist shared a post of highlights from the tour to social media, writing: “Just want to thank all the great audiences so far – I love you all. Peace & love from Ringo and the boys.”Back in April, Starr released his new EP with The Strokes‘ guitarist Nick Valensi, ‘Crooked Boy’, which became available on streaming after being originally released on exclusive vinyl for Record Store Day.The four-track EP was co-written with Linda Perry, who Starr previously worked with on the tracks ‘Coming Undone’ and ‘Everyone And Everything’.“I love what Linda did and I think all the songs are all great but one thing I did ask her was to write me a rocker,” the drummer said in a statement.
