£20m profit on Angelino Manchester City should make up to a £20m profit on left-back Angelino this summer, with RB Leipzig keen to sign the defender on a permanent basis.
Angelino joined the Bundesliga side on loan in January and has shown brilliant form in Germany. The loan agreement in place has an option for Leipzig to buy the 23-year-old for £26m, and it looks like the German team are keen to take that up in the summer.
Angelino has featured five times in the Bundesliga for Leipzig and has scored one goal, while recording assists in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal as well.
He was a key figure in the side that thrashed City’s Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur over two legs in the last 16 of the Champions League. Redknapp says
