Soap fans call for classic Corrie, Emmerdale and Eastenders to be available on iPlayer and ITV Hub

Soap fans were devastated when ITV and BBC announced that they were suspending filming of their favourite programmes during the coronavirus crisis.

Production for Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Eastenders among others have been put on hold because of COVID-19. Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered a widespread lockdown in the UK on Monday after thousands of people ignored calls for 'social distancing' to slow the coronavirus pandemic.

This has of course led to a lot of people having a lot of spare time on their hands. Soap watchers have come up with the ingenious idea that now is the best time to binge watch classic episodes of our favourite shows.
