ERNAKULAM: Kerala, a hotspot for covid-19, is drawing up a list of preventive steps for a staggered return to normalcy after the nationwide lockdown ends on 14 April.

The measures include wearing masks in public, limiting passengers in public buses to one-third of capacity, and rapid testing and screening of people returning to Kerala once inter-state borders re-open.

A draft action plan compiled by a 17-member task force has suggested continuing with stringent restrictions and allowing some limited services, along with those essential in nature, in the seven hotspot districts which cover half of Kerala, two people privy to the discussions told Mint, requesting anonymity.
