Marvel’s six-hour long cast reveal for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is confusing people
Marvel is announcing the cast of Avengers: Doomsday in unusual fashion, and it’s safe to say fans have been taken by surprise.Each cast member is currently being announced in a livestream on Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube and official social media channels, with a new name being revealed every 12 minutes.
You can find the updating cast list at the bottom of this article.Among the returning cast members are Chris Hemsworth as Thor; Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, his Captain America: Brave New World his co-star Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/The Falcon; Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier; Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man; Tom Hiddleston as Loki; Letitia Wright as Shuri; and her Black Panther: Wakanda Forever co-star Winston Duke as M’Baku.Some recent newcomers to the MCU have also been announced for Doomsday.
They include Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing from this summer’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.A number of Thunderbolts* stars have also been confirmed, including Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S.
Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Lewis Pullman as the mysterious Bob, and Simu Liu as Shang-Chi.Tenoch Huerta Mejía, who portrayed the underwater villain Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has also been announced for Doomsday, as has Kelsey Grammer, who reprised his X-Men role as Beast in the post-credits scene of The Marvels.The cast list will continue to update for a further three hours, with the latest announcements being Sir Patrick Stewart, who looks set to reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier, and Sir Ian McKellen, who will be returning as Magneto.Suffice to say, Marvel.
