My Mum, Your Dad, the show helping single parents to find a second chance at love, is back for a second season. Davina McCall returns to host the series that follows a group of middle-aged single parents who head to a romance retreat and are overseen by their adult children - something that was a secret in the first series, but is now a known fact.
Davina revealed: “The new twist is quite funny because obviously they do know that their kids are watching now. They are a little bit self-conscious about how far they take it or what they talk about.” The synopsis reads: “Expect more heartfelt emotion as their grown-up kids take the reins once more but this time their parents are entrusting them wholeheartedly to be their ‘dating experts’. “Throughout the process, the dating decisions and the little notes of encouragement and words of advice they leave their parents are now all the more meaningful.
With plenty of surprises and new twists along the way, the grown-up kids once again get a front row seat to all the action, as their mums and dads hope to find a romantic connection at the retreat.
And, at the end, they’ll ultimately decide if they give their blessing to any potential matches.” So let’s meet the cast of 2024… Mum Clare and daughter Aimee Clare, 53, is a homemaker and charity volunteer from West Sussex.
