National League teams have voted to end the season at the point it currently stands at following a meeting via a video conference call.
It is believed 90 percent of the 68 clubs responded in the vote and that there was a clear majority who wanted the campaign to be abandoned.
It is not clear how the relegation and promotion places will be resolved, but all the remaining games in the three divisions will be called off.
