NEIL 'Razor' Ruddock has revealed he was clinically dead after his heart stopped in surgery. The former footballer admitted he was on a path of destruction before having a pace maker fitted.
Neil, 52, had spent years going on massive benders, with him revealing to the Daily Star Sunday: "At my worst I was crazy – I was doing three or four bottles of wine a day, easy-peasy, plus spirits, beers, cocktails.” Things weren't straightforward when it came to having his pace maker fitted, he explained: "Before I could get my pacemaker I had to have my heart zapped to slow it down. “They zap it seven times.
If your heartbeat doesn’t return to normal after seven times, you’re in trouble. “Mine came back the third time they did it – but it stopped.
