Northern Ireland's First Minister has said he does not expect major changes to Covid rules when the Executive meets on Thursday.
Paul Givan was speaking after a joint visit by him and Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill to the intensive care unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
They met and spoke to staff about the pressure the health system is under and later praised their work. Ms O’Neill, who recently recovered from the virus, has been advocating a cautious approach to further easements.
Mr Givan said he thought more progress could be made on some of the rules, particularly around how many people can meet in private homes.
