(CDC map) NEW YORK - The governors of six northeast U.S. states are having an "emergency summit" on COVID-19 this weekend as the virus continues to spread throughout the region, New York Gov.
Andrew Cuomo said Friday.Several states have passed new restrictions this week. New York has a 10 p.m. curfew for bars and restaurants and a ban on gatherings over 10 people in private residences.Cuomo said the group will discuss potential coordination of these types of restrictions on as well as interstate travel and quarantine rules. "We want to make sure that we can align policies as much as possible or at least be aware of what the other states' policies are.
