Waste crews are to start collecting recycling again in Oldham after the service was temporarily changed to a single weekly bin collection.
Bosses say that from Monday, April 27 they are aiming to revert back to the schedule of bin collection which was in place before the coronavirus crisis hit.
This will see residents' grey, blue or brown bins taken on their usual collection day. At the moment food waste can be put in a grey bin and also in a green bin or food caddy which will be picked up on brown bin collection week, to allow food waste to be collected regularly.
This will mean garden waste can still be collected over the summer, but on a 'reduced frequency'. It comes after the council had temporarily introduced a single weekly general
