Oldham Council has introduced a weekly grey bin collections due to the coronavirus outbreak. Council bosses are urging people to put all waste, including food and materials they would normally recycle, into their grey bin.
The temporary collection service, starting on Monday, March 30, has been drawn up due to staff shortages. Usually grey bins are collected every three weeks in the borough.
A statement posted on the council's website said: " Only put out your grey bin by 7am on your usual collection day. "No other bins will be collected for the time being.
