Just last month the Government announced new changes on car MOT services to help UK drivers with their vehicles during the coronavirus pandemic.

The new rules were introduced a number of weeks ago when the country announced it will be facing a lockdown to tackle the Covid-19 crisis.

As people in the UK have been told to remain at home and to only leave for supermarket trips, work and medicinal reasons, thousands of Brits may face trouble when their MOT runs out.

So what does that mean when your MOT expires? And what should you do if you've been ordered to stay at home unless it's for essential reasons?
