Three people have been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in Motherwell. On Thursday, May 23, officers searched a property under warrant on the town's Wood Crescent.

Heroin with an estimated street value of £20,000 was seized from within. Two men, aged 18 and 49, and a 42-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.

They are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, June 21. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
