This was the moment traffic heading towards the North West was moved off the M6 following a serious crash. Three ambulances were sent out to the scene along with an air ambulance following a collision on the northbound motorway between junctions 14 and 15, in Staffordshire, last night (May 28).

Four men were rushed to hospital following the smash, including two who were believed to have serious injuries. The M6 closed at around 9pm yesterday as police and traffic officers arrived on the scene.

It remained shut throughout the night, with one lane also closed on the southbound carriageway.
