Perth groups united in their efforts to help vulnerable during lockdown

Five main groups have now been established in Perth to support those self-isolating during the coronavirus crisis. Each group is offering assistance to those in isolation with shop and drop (or access to community fridges), prescription collections and friendly telephone calls.

The work is being supported by Perth and Kinross Council Health and Social Care Partnership. The groups are: Perth City North (covering Letham, Tullloch, Fairfield, Muirton, North Muirton and Bertha Park); Perth City Centre; Perth City South (covering Craigie, Friarton, Moncrieffe and Cherrybank); Perth City East (covering Bridgend, Kinnoull and Gannochy); Perth City West (covering the Western Edge and Oakbank).A dozen local community organisations have joined
