Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan defended them both still being live in the studio to do the ITV show, amid the country being on lockdown.

Only essential and key workers are permitted to continue amid the coronavirus outbreak, with the UK facing huge travel and lockdown restrictions.

The public have been advised to stay at home for at least three weeks, as COVID-19 cases and deaths increase rapidly daily in the UK and around the world.

Susanna herself has been in self-isolation for two weeks after her son had symptoms. But she has now finished this isolation period, and returned to the studio on Tuesday morning to host alongside Piers.
